The Crafty Jelley Barn is a Craft Centre and Giftshop next to the relaxing river River Stour, surrounded by extensive woodland and wildlife, situated on the site of a Steam Driven Rope Mill Industrial Heritage Site.
Join us in our quirky comfortable environment where you browse a wide selection of gifts made in the barn, or attend one of our FUN CRAFTY WORKSHOPS, where you can learn creative new skills in an all Inclusive Environment.

EVENTS
The Crafty Jelley Barn is affiliated with Jelleyman's Heritage Arts Charity (JHAC) who control the site have numerous ongoing activities to suit all tastes and ages.
​JHAC has various events organised throughout 2025, from arts and crafts and music festivals to seasonal celebrations and halloween events. Most are 'themed' so check out the events slider for the next one.
The Crafty Jelley Barn is always open, so pop in and unwind down our part of the river.

The art studio boasts a huge variety of funky and vibrant items for sale, that are sure to enhance your home environment and show-off your unique personality.

Workshops
Within the surroundings of a nostalgic, inspiring barn, you can enjoy various small groups craft workshops in a non-threatening, non-judgemental and all inclusive friendly environment, where you can come along and just be yourself and enjoy the experience. Whole families welcome, which has proven to be very popular for that 'together' feeling.

No skills are needed, because the key to this is FUN!
Wood Art
Our Wood Art Workshop utilises wood sourced from Jelleyman's forest as much as possible.
Creations such as rustic and fantasty incense burners including resin, tea light burners, funky bottle lights, bleached wood keyrings with gems, forest scenes with horse shoes ... to name but a few. We are constantly evolving and trying new things!
